Microsoft® Access Database Security
By: Hermawih Hasan
I am not going to make an article of Microsoft® Access
Security. I want to refer a book that has helped me to
tackle one of the hardest topics in Microsoft® Access. The
book that I am about to tell you has different approach in
its structure. The book with twelve chapters and four
hundreds and ninety two pages discuss about protection and
security. There are already so many books about Microsoft® Access, why we need another book?
Here are my reasons why I recommend the book:
- The book is different. It talks about only security
in all chapters.
- The book has helped me to understand more about
Microsoft® Access Security.
- The book is unique. With so many books of Microsoft® Access discussing almost the same topics, the author
found a niche in the market.
- The book is easy to understand and apply. It took me
about two hours browsing the contents and about three
hours applying the concepts to my application. Before
reading the book, I have read about the topic some where
else but without a solid understanding of it. I
especially like the suggestion that we should not secure
everything.
- This book remind me of my trouble when I tried to
find a way applying the concept of object oriented
programming and business object to my Microsoft® Access
application. If there was such a book for Microsoft® Access, I would have saved time in learning the concept
of OOP and Business Objects for my Microsoft® Access
application. Obviously, the author has spent a lot of
time researching of the topic. And this book about
security has helped me to save my time learning it.
