Database Security
Database security is available in Educator version and above. The database security is set by database properties. Following are database properties use for securing your BOCSoft
eQuestion database.

Description |
| Published | Is the database published? Database is published only once. Published database can not be published again. In application there will be a command to publish a database which is used to set the following database properties: Published, Protection, Read Only, Read By Other, and Is Importable. |
| Protection | Is The
Database protected? If the database is protected then user of
your eQuestion database will need to a password to open your
database. |
| Read Only | Is the
database read only? If the database is read only then
database can not be added, updated, or deleted. |
| Read By Other | Can
the database read by the others? If database
set to no then only BOCSoft Reader can open database.
BOCSoft eQuestion
can not open database. |
| Is
Importable | Is the
database importable? If database is importable then you can combine
questions from several databases created by the same version into
single database. |
