User Management
At first use this application security will
be set at the lowest level meaning that all user will be assumed
as an admin user. This means that everyone log-in as admin
user can create questions, tests, doing testing and print
reports. And if users are taking test then resulted grade will
recorded for admin user even the user are different. Two
reasons below are some indications that you need to use user
management function.
- Grade Security. If you need to
differentiate who is taking what test and what is the
result, then you should use this feature of this
application. User must login to take testing so it will
prevent someone using different name.
- Database Security. If you need to
restrict who is doing what function then you should use this
feature of this application. At home for example, parent
will be allowed to create questions, tests and children will
be allowed only for testing. At school, teachers have
access to create questions and tests and students will be
allowed only for eTesting (taking test).
To open user management function then you call this from Tool
> Database Security > User Management. Then you can
manage three different categories of management user:
managing users, managing groups, and managing user and group
rights.
- Create Users and passwords.

- Create Group.

- Managing user and group rights.

Notes:
- There are four buttons to use in this function.
-
Exit.
-
Managing
users.
-
Managing groups.
-
Managing user and group rights.
- You can managing rights using groups or by using
users. Consider giving rights to groups if you have many
users using the application. By assigning users to a
group then you could only set its group rights.
Otherwise you must set each user with the same right. If
you have one hundred user having the same name then you
have to set those users rights for one hundred times
repeatedly. But by assigning users to a group then you
can only set group right one time.
